The FB group is a spring off of the members on this site.  Most of those guys are members here yet.  It happened when FB 1st became popular.  :occasion-xmas:  Actually, Randy, you will find a lot of the the members on other tractor sites, are also members here.

Question for you FBers how many times would you see on FB "I'll send you that for shipping" or even "it's on me??

Happens here all the time. :)

Pretty much never Jim!
I like FB and use it, but I stay out of the political discussions and most other hot topics. The biggest issue I think is the lack of good rule enforcement in FB groups. The keyboard warriors are to often allowed to belittle other folks even tho when you sign up they state in the rules “show respect towards other members”. My FB truck groups are no different than the FB Junkies group. All poorly moderated.

My wife’s version is a bit different... she just stops at idiot...  :hide:

And as far as calling people names... I like Wheel Horses for a simple reason: they reflect one of my favorite mottos in high school:

I may have been small, but I was slow...

Mmmm.. Facebook..
"What model is this?" (Shows clear picture of ID tag and hoodstand)
"What is this worth? I bought it for nothing from a little old lady, and want to be rich."
"This Kohler is trash because it needs the points cleaned yearly, Im installing a Clone motor."

"This tractor is junk because it only lasted 5 years of being a mud basher."

Mm.. I've come back off pretty much every FB page I joined.. much rather be here.

I remember pretty vividly that the balls that ride on the shifter rails are referred to as hoobie doobie balls

There's a c160 for sale either southern New Hampshire or Massachusetts that is $3,000....

Not restored. Nothing super special.  Unfortunately I am not making this up.

I use FB very little, mostly looking for a few buys. I will say the market place is better than CL. Seems as when people put there names on line it can improve things.

I think having the members real names attached and seen on their RS account would just about seal the deal and make it much better too. :twocents-02cents:

I don't really respond to a lot of the questions and activities going on on Facebook especially around the wheel horse tractor. To me this site meaning  red square is the only place I hang out. I'm just not sure how they called them selves red square. I did have a bad dealing with someone l bought tractor parts from on facebook. Send him the money got no parts and he won't answer my calls.

I agree and do what has been said above. I direct folks to this page for questions and manuals. I also encourage them to become members. I also have a link on my YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRboR0C2UE6bqALxax3_h8A ) that if you click the wheelhorse icon in the lower right corner it directs you straight to here. Why be a member and dont promote what you love! I am a great person to promote a business. My late dad said i could sell a dog turd and you would think it was a gold bar. LOL If you are honest with me and good to me I will be good to you and have your back!
