JohnD 145 #1 Posted September 20, 2020 I just picked up my first C-175 and I'm having a hard time locating the push valve on the transmission. The manual shows this: and when I pull the left wheel I see this: I notice the brake is upside down from the photo... but this is the proper orientation according to the Toro parts manual. and from the rear I see this: I guess I can pull one more wheel but I'd rather not... Is this a different series transmission? Ot appears to match the parts manual, just not the user manual.
AMC RULES 37,134 #2 Posted September 20, 2020 The Eaton 1100 doesn't have a tow valve, but you can push it, just make sure you do it in slow motion.
daveoman1966 3,762 #3 Posted September 20, 2020 (edited) Those look like manual pics for a SUNDSTRAND auto. Are sure your C-175 has Sundstrand. There was only one year for the Sundsrand model 01-17KS02 and other years have Eaton Automatics model 01-17E01 (02,03) ....BIG difference. The letters S or E make it Sundstrand or Eaton. 01-17KE03 None - None C-175 Twin Automatic Tractor Assembly Drawings Product Details Attachments and Accessories 01-17KS02 None - None C-175 Twin Automatic Tractor Assembly Drawings Product Details Attachments and Accessories 11-17K801 None - None C-175 Twin 8-Speed Tractor Assembly Drawings Product Details Attachments and Accessories 11-17KE01 None - None C-175 Twin Automatic Tractor Assembly Drawings Edited September 20, 2020 by daveoman1966
