I'm no steam power expert but it seems to be barely even thinking about the load. 

 

Absolute beast of a machine.

The steam engine with the 36 bottom plow knew it had a load on it, but it was not barking like it was going at full load.  Got to remember that steam engines make maximum torque at zero RPM.

 

On the other clip, I didn't know that JD made roto tiller attachments that big.

Steam guy was cheating. His rear tires are 2x the size of the Deer.

Also, steam guy was cheating. He's using steam. That torquey bastage...

Those old steam tractors are truly amazing beasts, we went to a show last weekend that had a few of them riding around, and even had one demonstrating the way they used to move houses.
