What’s wrong with your hupmobile?

I’m currently swapping Duramax engines from a donor to my hauler as well.

Cruising down the road and truck started making noise and running weird thought it was an injector but nope something came through my intake, waiting for the shop to pull the head to make sure cylinder wall is okay then replace piston and stud the motor lol! 2006 6.0 powerstroke

I’m always up for a good road trip when I get my truck back running !

Okay you're going to come across New Hampshire and when you hit the border and you're at the edge of nowhere you're going to take two lefts and two rights and you'll be here...

one thing that stood out to me that I can’t find a answer for is the muffler though how this one sticks out instead of going down

That's likely just because somebody's changed it in the past.

Should have had the Nelson style muffler that goes basically down and across but that likely rusted out.

Can't explain the ID tag. Because of the price of new mufflers for those models ($200+) many guys use that $8.00 "pepper shaker" muffler instead.

Ahhh that makes sense completely! Is there any other location for an ID tag on these machines?

Thank you for the response! That’s what a buddy of mine was also saying maybe it was miss stamped or a late model frame, the engine is a 12hp Kohler for sure, the rear seat does come foward but where the seat is mounted that flips back giving easy access to the transaxle dipstick, one thing that stood out to me that I can’t find a answer for is the muffler though how this one sticks out instead of going down.  I attached a picture of the ID tag I found on the side of the frame!

Welcome to the forum.

Added your serial number to the list. The tractor model number is just the 1-0390. The 9 at the end tells us it is a 1974 model. 9-5=4=1974

Garry where is this list

If you click on the picture in the link above the serial numbers are on the page that comes up for that model.

Tried to place them with the OM (Operator manual) for each model number.

If we do not have an OM they are with the IPL (illustrated parts list) or TIPL (On-line Toro illustrated parts list)

The SN in a folder name has serials listed

The sn in a folder name has no serials listed yet
