Mudrig150 298 #1 Posted September 14, 2020 (edited) 30$ for one banjo bolt and 4 copper washers. 15$ for shipping even though I could drive to the Kawasaki parts warehouse 5 hours away. The parts aren't even available at any hardware store because they're metric thread and a special setup. I have 48$ in my account, and I'm not spending over half of that on a 1$ bolt and 4 50 cent washers. I swear, this quad is driving me nuts. It's also a heck of a lot of TIME to be on the road when you could be home working on other things. The last few years I've learned to put a value on things that I do or things that I am buying and try to get that value to be the best I can. It's important that you do not define value strictly by the financial aspect of it. Due to the fact that I work in the construction industry which has been particularly busy I don't have a lot of shop time anymore. I get paid by the hour and the overtime is lovely when the paycheck comes in but it doesn't change the fact that my leisure is greatly interrupted. So I would look at this situation like this. Even if you have a vehicle that is only going to cost you that exact same $15 there is no way that I'm going to be on the road for an entire day and lose even more time in my workshop when I could just as easily have the piece delivered right directly to me. That said, Trina and I are both very frugal people and try to get the most product for the least money whenever possible so I would call the businesses I listed in my first post before I spent the money at the dealer. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Would definitely help if you'd give us the pitch of the bolt you need. I might have one lying around in one of my bolt cans. The copper washers can be had off of the help rack at any parts store for $4 If you're going to be spending money on projects, it might be a good idea to come up with a source of income. Mudrig150 298 #13 Posted September 15, 2020 (edited) The bolt I need is an 8 mm by 20 threads per inch, or about 8x1.25, its an oil line banjo bolt with a weird setup, kawasaki part number 92150-19557. The washers are 8.2 mm inside, 14 mm outside, 1 mm thick, kawasaki part number 11009-1344 The cheapest I found is from adept power sports but I don't know about them.
