bc.gold 3,403 #1 Posted September 9, 2020 Two starters from Matt, one has the solenoid welded in place and the other has the Bendix welded. 1
bc.gold 3,403 #2 Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) My mother is English, she gives me my dry sense of humour. I'm sure you've heard of bailing wire mechanics or perhaps even watched a few Red Green duct tape episodes where he uses duct tape to repair most everything. Matt prefers using his welder. bc.gold 3,403 #5 Posted September 14, 2020 The next time I'm visiting Matt I'll have to remember my camera, the day that I visited on the hunt for a couple of Prestolite starters I found Matt cutting grass at the rear of his property. He pulled up alongside and idled the mower down but could not hear a word he said then after shutting it down he explained to me that the three bolts holding the spindle in place had rusted through the deck and pointed to the three vice grips used hold the spindle in place and the blade was hitting the deck.
