Power Bagger 79301

"Manic-Mechanic"

Hello,

recently ordered a rebuilt power bagger blower assembly crafted in metal through A-Z. Lincoln came to the shop and custom worked the unit unto the 48" deck. With a few minor adjustments the blower fit excellent! I mowed around for a couple hours and it just buzzed right along. (yard looks like freshly vacuumed rug!) I'll need to replace the lift assembly support on the tractor, other than that, she's good to go! (Now just need those little painter elves to show up one night) Lol!

WOW.. had no idea they did anything like that. Been tempted to try and make my own steel housing before. Looks fantastic.

This is a prototype. There will be a  slight change to the left side chute entry, a diagonal change in the design to accomodate the flange on the deck's left side. This one was reformed slightly to a small curve in that area, works extremely well. I will install the spring support from the right foot rest to the rear wheel bar assembly as per the latest design of the 79301(listed in the 16157 PDF)

To make the deck sit level you need to add the third bar on the deck attachiment.

Cool!

My welding skills left along with my youth! I can do some basic repairs but no more professional fabrications, tired of wrenching but keep on , keeping on!

I can't see to weld now either. Old age will get you one way or the other.

Ya,

I get the deck aligned, blower mounted and find out the bearing support for the lift is blown out and warped! Then she quit in the middle of mowing, carburetor clogged up. I removed the fuel pump as it wasn't squirting, it was full of white crap! The bowl on the carb was full of white crap too! The fibers from the china fuel filter more than likely. I bought new fuel pump & carb rebuild kit, right, there from China so the rubber will melt quickly on everything. My day has come and gone, everything is JUNK now. That's why I enjoy rebuilding a small part of the past..........
