SylvanLakeWH 25,490 #15 Posted September 7, 2020 No blankies for my gals...Main benefit of a Black Hood is the flat top... Doubles as a work bench, storage shelf and beer holder... them little old round Hoods May be “cute” but they don’t cut it as a flat mobile working surface... A horse pawing in the snow for food is not an indication that the animal is starving; pawing is a common way for horses to access grass under the snow during winter months. It is important to note that horses will eat more, and require additional feed, just to stay warm during colder temperatures.
