Jon D 82 #1 Posted September 7, 2020 Anyone use one of these? Picked it up cheap about a month ago and making some changes to it. Just welded the frame (it was bolted with pipe) and about to add a linear actuator for dump mechanism. Wonder how much fabrication it would take to attach it to the front?
AMC RULES 37,130 #2 Posted September 7, 2020 Google "Johnny bucket" Looks like one mounted up in reverse. Neat attachment, dig it mounted on the back.

Scoop totes predate the Johnny bucket by a long time, found pics and ads going way back

roadapples 6,983 #5 Posted September 7, 2020 Much rather have it on the front. The old neck don't work the way it used to. Handy unit.... 2

I’m thinking about making a front sleeve hitch to lift it, either on attach-a-matic or build a different frame. Not sure if snowblower lift rod could get it high enough or if I’d need a second linear actuator to lift it

I was thinking a plow frame mount also, But I'm not sure if about lifting that much weight. But if it works on a cable operated clevis hitch , maybe?

The scoop as it sits probably has a weight around 60 lbs and total weight with full scoop of dirt is probably around 300 lbs

Approximately 250 for the deuce but it lifts and mounts differently from the singles which is how I would mount a front scoop/ Johnny Bucket.
