Pullstart 62,789 #2 Posted September 7, 2020 Happy Labor Day, everyone! I hope all are well rested this weekend and enjoy the fruits of their labor for a change! We’re camping at the inlaw’s place (field) and it’s pouring rain for a bit! We need the rain too 5
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #3 Posted September 7, 2020 Happy Labor Day Gang! Thanks for all that your hard work does to profit your families, communities, states, and ultimately our country! As the old proverb says, “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.” We enjoyed a day at the pontiac car show with three generations of Stertz boys driving GTO’s... Tomorrow, I need to install my new Diamond Eye exhaust on the Excursion, then it is time to measure up the house and garage roof for standing seam roof steel. That will be a project for about two weeks from now... Have a great day! 5 1
ZXT 2,401 #4 Posted September 7, 2020 Hope everyone has a good day off tomorrow! I spent today putting EFI on a Corvair, and then changed the starter and fuel pump on my dad's '71 RS Camaro.. Tomorrow I'm off work but I'm heading to a friends house to see if we can get either of the two Porsche 928's he just bought running. It's not work if you're having fun, right?! 3

Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #15 Posted September 7, 2020 Happy Labor Day to all. Got out the two wheeler and went for a 120 mile ride in Northeast Ct. with my dad, some nice country roads up that way. After we parted ways I kinda still wanted to ride so headed towards the Ct River to a couple spots to watch boats pass by (could do that for hours )..then chose a huge loop to get back home. 205 miles total today.

PeacemakerJack 10,738 #17 Posted September 8, 2020 Got my exhaust in a box last week and with the help of @Coulter Caleb we got it installed in about 2.5hours. It isn’t beautiful but it is much better than only the chunk of downpipe that was left... Then I assisted Caleb building this little drink table for our rec room. It was a great day with the family! 3

Dad called on Friday night and asked if Caleb would like to drive their 2004 GTO to the car show. Caleb didn’t have to think too long before answering in the affirmative 😉. He is keeping his eye out for a hot rod of his own but is still saving up his pennies😎 1

Had to order a couple of parts! Didn't take any of the Porsche work session either. Electric fuel pump was stuck, so we disassembled it, freed it up, but it leaked like hell when we got it back together. Only thing keeping the car from running..
