JustinW.73 224 #1 Posted September 4, 2020 Posted awhile back about the restoration of my 856. Starting to get to the point of needing some odds and ends. I’m needing a throttle and choke cable and found both on a listing on eBay. Wasn’t sure if they would fit since it looked like it had a newer part number. Also don’t know if I’m allowed to post eBay ads but if I can I will. Also looking for points cover screws. Can’t seem to find any. My rh Wheel spindle is also broke and I’m looking for either an nos or really good used one. Those are the main things I’m looking for. Also, does anyone know the original gauge wire for the tractor. I'd vote again for calling Lincoln at A to Z. He's a great guy and one of our own vendors. The "original" wire gauge may have been too small from the factory in some cases. You should use 14 ga for most of the wiring and 6 or even 4 for the battery cables. Try to find pure copper stranded cable. Not CCA. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
