One of the last parts that I have yet to identify from a parts haul earlier this year. Any idea on a part # or application (assuming it's a front drive/hanger just don't know for what) . Thanks in advance. :eusa-think:

That is what goes on the attach o matic

to run the mower deck on a mid 60s 

tractor. It stays mounted on the deck.

If you look on my 857, it's front lower pulley on the mower deck. The PTO belt runs from the engine to this pulley, then two belts run to the deck from it.

Wow, I didn’t realize they had ever changed the tensioner system on the 60’s decks!  I have only had the versions that have the long tension rods.

Yup, belt tentioner for the older Gear Drive decks. I have that on my '68 Commando 8.

Much better, who knew there was paint under all that dirt lol.

 

Wheel horse parts and more has the bearings for the pulley. I bought a pair for my deck. Its part number 6593, $6 each.
