Anyone Else Watch Farmhand’s Companion?

Pullstart

Likely the best show on YouTube!  @formariz @The Tuul Crib @Ed Kennell and any other wood workers and old tool guys you’d get a kick out of Pa Mac I’m sure!
This is his latest, but in all videos he never speaks, just subtitles.  All the music is from he and his family.  A true craftsman of the land!

@pullstart that’s pretty cool stuff right there. I’m afraid that that is a lost art! These new generations just don’t understand that hard work, a little patience can be so satisfying and save a lot of money! Still pretty cool though!

That's really cool, never heard of this before but I am subscribed now.  I love seeing people who keep the old ways alive.  Growing up we used to have a festival in my hometown called "Old Roxbury Days" where the local historical society would run old machines, there was a tractor show, they had a full working blacksmith that would be making items.  Sadly the same people volunteered every year and never got any help so eventually the event ended as less and less people were willing to help keep it going.

The Tuul Crib

I'll check it out later on this evening. There's another one I've been watching is called my self reliance on YouTube. This guy is a genius when it comes to off the grid.

Roy Uderhill need to have this guy on his show!       :confusion-confused:           Think if I were splitting a log I wouldn't do it that close to the pig pen.         :confusion-questionmarks:

Just shows what can be done without fancy power tools and a bit of savvy. :bow-blue:

@pullstartGreat stuff. Thanks for posting it. Never get tired of watching this type of video. Reminds me of my grandfather. He was just like that. Fashioned all hinges from a piece of thick leather or his favorite which was  one cut from a tire. The thick rubber not only was a stout hinge but it made the door self closing since it always wants to spring back to its original shape.
