So where are all the 15 spline 1 inch PTO driveshafts for the 60 in 3 point mower and 51 in 3 point tiller for D series and Super C 195. I have a D200 and a 51in tiller and all I can do is haul it around on my 3 point. Lol

Most time the attachments are for sale with no PTO or only the attachment end. I am sure when the attachment was sold the PTO came with it and would think extras were produced.

I have found tractors, attachments, parts from RJ35 to D200, that some I thought I would never have or find. Even have found small bore K161/141 parts that everyone says are non existent.

But this PTO is got to be the most rarest of rare. Was just at Portland; none there. Was hoping to go to the Big Show this past June and find one. Looking like next year's show will still feature the D series, so maybe someone would produce some.

I fervently search everywhere on the web, who is hiding these and why? I am considering finding a shop that would produce me about 10-20 and hopefully at a decent price and than probably would sell them out in a week. I know this male yoke was used on many makes of garden tractors in the 70s. Why has it gone nonexistent?

What has anyone done to modify this setup? I have wondered about finding a 4-6 inch 15 spline shaft and use it with a 15 spline female yoke that seems to be more available. A reference pic not mine.

Well, probably not!! (see below) You will probably have to get inventive!!

I have 2 Massey Ferguson garden tractors and along with the PTO shaft (which thank goodness I have!!) they have TWO drive train 3/4" x 9 splined shafts!! that need THREE splined COLLARS!! Luckily Surplus Center had the collars and with some fabrication I managed to get  most of the slop out of the old drive shafts that new are non-existent

But, one has a 54" deck that is gear driven with a PTO type drive shaft that has a Ujoint at the gear box, and mine was falling apart! Apparently they are as rare as your shaft!! After much frustration I had found - again - that Surplus Center had a small collection of Ujoints of which I gambled and ordered one with a 3/4" bore. I cut the old joint off and welded the new one to the shaft which turned out OK except the shaft out of the gear box was 20mm .... hmmmm, well I'll just take the shaft out and turn it down that some .037mm on the lathe, no prob --- except the shaft was harder than &%$# and carbide wouldnt touch it. Next step was called my buddy up who had a tool post mounted grinder for his lathe and it still took some 30/40 min to grind that little bit off. :ranting:  But in the end I was successful and the deck is now in good condition...

Dont know if itll help for what you need but Surplus has 1" x 15 splined shafts in 4 variations......

Hi Pacer good to hear from you. I will check out Surplus. I still haven't got the driveline installed yet that you sold me. Just no rush with the above problem. But I did get the collar freed up and ready. Just too many other projects but if I found this PTO, everything will be sidetracked and I will get the driveline installed. Thank you for your insight.
