Hi all, first thing I should say is I know nothing about Wheel Horse (sorry!). I have an old Wheel Horse Charger 12 in my garden here in the UK.  Is there any demand for parts for these in the UK?

One problem I have is that the Wheel Horse is bigger than the gap out of the garden so it would need to be dismantled to be removed.  I have put photos on here.  Is anyone interested? I can put more photos up if required.

Did you have a price in mind?

Not knowing the size of your garden gate, hopefully just the front spindles, rear tires and fender pan being removed might make it squeeze through?  Is there an option to lift it over?

I've never seen that style of front wheel weight with the Wheel Horse name on it.  Those alone would be in great demand.   If you remove the mowing deck, maybe you could get it through the gate.   Width without the mowing deck is about 35".

I don't know....

We just picked up my latest one - the 416-8 on Friday night so I am keeping a low profile on the purchase front!

Thanks I will measure up the gate.  The back wheels also have Wheel Horse name on them  is that more common? I can take a photo when it gets light tomorrow.

Chargers.Electros are GREAT tractors. Simple wiring and more than enough power for most al you want to do.  and SPEED at least 1 mph faster than later models

Hi I have measured the gap in the gate and it is 31 inches.  I would need to take off the gate posts to increase this to 36 inches.  I have also taken a couple of photos of the rear of the tractor to show the name on the wheels.

Thanks for all your replies so far.

Both sets of wheel weights are very different than what we have in the States, and are rare in any country.   They don't sell cheap.   Seems like you have enough interest from collectors in the UK, that you might get some help getting the tractor out of the yard.   The deck is easy to remove.  The remainder of the job is more complicated.   Whatever you do, don't send it to the junk yard.   An ambitious collector can revive it (with a fair amount of work).  Good luck.

Those weights are to die for!
