MAWHguy2019 21 #1 Posted August 29, 2020 Outside of dirt grading what can these be used for? Snow applications? I have a plow with an asphalt driveway. Not sure what I could do with this attachment.
lynnmor 7,302 #2 Posted August 29, 2020 Dirt and stone grading is pretty much it. You might be able to do some minimal snow work and maybe break up some ice, but that asphalt drive might take a beating.
ebinmaine 67,309 #3 Posted August 29, 2020 You can move snow but steering would be challenging.
The Tuul Crib 7,336 #4 Posted August 29, 2020 I move dirt with mine . Downward preasure is the challenge tho. Plus lots of ass end weights! Theres no stopping a 16 horse.Too ,Its all about gearing and that's what these tractors are all about!
953 nut 55,099 #5 Posted August 30, 2020 When it comes to gravel driveway maintenance the mid-mount grader blade is a great tool. Any snow accumulation more than a couple inches will probably not work out because the front tires will compact the snow too much making the blade skip over it.
Tach-a-matic 357 #6 Posted October 25, 2020 (edited) I can never find one of these for my Horse. However, I built one for an Ariens by converting a 48" ATV setup. It is intended for light snows only, we'll see how it goes. I'd say it'd be a similar job converting one for a Horse. Frame cut down and modified moldboard ripped longways and test fitted painted and relocated new shorter trip springs Edited October 25, 2020 by Tach-a-matic 5
