1987 414-8 Voltage reading 15 v

I installed a new battery in my 1987 414-8 and noticed that the voltmeter is now showing a consistent 15 volts while running. Prior to changing the battery it was showing around 14 volts. Should I be concerned or just ride it.

  I wouldn’t trust those in-dash voltmeters. Get a digital hand held meter and take a reading. 

   At the battery while running it should be 14-15 volts.
