Greentored 3,201 #1 Posted August 29, 2020 Picked up a Bronco 14 awhile back and been doing lawn duty at the girlfriends place. When it gets to any kind of incline, it slows down. No rpm loss, worse cold, and at part throttle will almost stop on a hill. Fluid good, belt good, hydraulic deck lift flawless, hubs tight. Here’s the catch- butt it up against a wall and it’ll spin the tires all day long. Still kinda new to this stuff but never seen one act ‘weak’ yet pass the tire spin test. Any ideas fellas? wallfish 16,985 #2 Posted August 29, 2020 Any hydraulic system sucking in air will act like that. Could the fluid indicator be the wrong one? A bad/broken trans to frame connection can cause some weird stuff. I'm no hydro expert so just throwing stuff against the wall to see if it sticks 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
daveoman1966 3,745 #3 Posted August 29, 2020 I also have a Bronco 14...great tractor. In 30+ years, I've never heard of the symptoms you describe. However, the very first thing I always suggest is to look at the Left side of the hoodstand and see if the WELDED TAB is in tact...that it is not broken.
