The Tuul Crib 7,336 #1 Posted August 28, 2020 (edited) I'm going to pick up a tiller for my tractor or should I say one of them. And was wanting to know about the rocker shaft mount. Have an extra tank to mount under the seat so that I can use the bracket that holds the tank for the rocker shaft. I also have the tank mounted now on the tower in front of the steering wheel. Achto 27,504 #2 Posted August 28, 2020 Not a bad thought. I can run for better than 1.5 hrs on the gallon and a half tank that is in my Raider 12. I'm usually ready for a break by the time it needs gas. Not sure I would be able to get off of the seat if I ran 3+hrs straight. 1 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you want to be able to extend the Range without refilling i would use a 3 point fuel valve - a manual one and couple it between the two Tanks. If you just like to have the spare for longer Trailrides, i would build a bigger Tank that fits. While mostly all fueltanks have a breather, i see not much sense in just couple tanks together, so a Bigger tank make more senses in my opinion, that would be the Way i would go. wh500special 2,160 #12 Posted October 4, 2020 The 700-series zero turns had two tanks. One on each side. They weren’t selectable and were just tied together with a tee in the fuel line. Even if you only filled one tank they’d eventually find the same level. If you do mount one high and one low you’d probably want to put a selector valve to pick one or the other. If you accidentally connect them gravity will transfer all the fuel to the low tank and possibly overflow it. I think it’s a nice idea.
