I snuck one in

Well I have to thank @arrkerr for dealing with me and being patient also @pullstart Kevin as we were trying to set something up too  .Arrkerr placed a ad in the classifieds for a free C101 with a front mounted Mighty Mac chipper, a Agri-Fab sprayer and a WH cart his father bought new with the tractor. Bonus was it close to me , only 30-40 minutes away . Well I did what every  addic would do with to many tractors I PM”ed him as fast as I could . Then it was like ok dumbarsh how you going to pull this off without my son and wife knowing. Made all my normal calls for help and it was a no go from everyone for at least a week . Called him back and told him what was up and he said no biggie , they just have to be gone by Labor Day . He also said he was feeling the pressure from the wife that the tractor better not be showing up in their shed either  . Well yesterday was the day everything worked out and I didn’t get caught . His dad did keep the cart and homemade weights  but you can’t argue with free and with a tlc I think it’s a runner. The chipper is froze up but looks like the mount is made for the tractor and the sprayer needs tubes and hoses.

Maybe it’ll show up at plow days and it’ll find a new home . 

 

My daughter took the tonneau cover off her truck and it’s tucked away in a spot behind the barn. It’s heavy duty and with just the end bars it weighs enough so it won’t blow off .

I’d like to add that if nothing gets done with this tractor before the snow starts flying I’ll be giving away this tractor and chipper . It was gifted to me and that’s how it will leave.  It needs a good forever home and get the tlc it deserves not no scrapyard or parted out .

   Dibs on the first request then. That sprayer is a c-note or more new without the cart, and new electric pumps are available and usually need replaced if the unit is not properly cleaned out. i have a C-i41 auto and a ten Hp would go along nicely with that. The beast will be on the road by then for the 220 mile trip.

I love that attitude Jeff.  When my wife and I bought this house 39 years ago, the previous owners left behind an old Hoosier cabinet, not perfect but gently used and still pretty nice.  We cleaned it up and use it for storage in our dining room every day.  I feel like that cabinet belongs here, and if everything goes as well as I hope, it will stay here for the next owners when we move out.
