Mikefeds 15 #1 Posted August 27, 2020 Good evening everyone.... gathering some parts for a ‘78 C-141 Automatic I Just acquired ... with my Raider ‘10, the Square Forum was helpful in advising on a replacement brake / clutch spring for former part # 1014. Now I’m looking for suggested replacement clutch spring for the C-141 part # 6949. Also I think I’m getting the hang of the master parts viewer when a model had Automatic and Gear drive transmissions but there are multiple V belts for main Transmission Drive belt for the C-141 Automatic. There’s # 7478, 106496, and 7473. Any help is Always greatly appreciated. Everyone stay safe as these storms come through our States and prayers to our friends in Texas and Louisiana as Hurricane Laura makes landfall !
ebinmaine 68,332 #2 Posted August 27, 2020 Not sure what the middle number is but it seems to me that the 7473 is for the gear drive transmission which would make 7478 for the automatic or hydro.
Mikefeds 15 #3 Posted August 27, 2020 Eric, Thanks... model # 81-14KS 01 also is there an outlet for mufflers 😳. If I pay $533 for the muffler, it’ll be more than I paid for the tractor and mowing deck.....

Not sure what is original equipment on that thing. I have stacks on both of my tractors and Trina has little pepper pot type mufflers on both of her 8 horse tractors.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,095 #5 Posted August 27, 2020 Tractor drive belt # 7478 replaces # 4535 (HB/5L x 84.22" or 5/8" x 84.22") An 84" belt should work for you. This is on the parts list cover page for your model number. Put there for the very reason you describe. Multiple models using the same parts list. Even the belt charts have mistakes in them.
