305 380 #1 Posted August 27, 2020 i have a `68 Lawn Ranger that i have a 39" snow blade for. doing some comparing and measuring between that and my newly acquired `69 700 Workhorse i think it will go on....or am i nuts? anyone done it or know of any potential problems? thank you in advance 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't know the answer specifically but I'm thinking if the width of the front axle is the same and the back will bolt on to the 700 okay, should work. 7 horse is more than enough to plow. pfrederi 17,674 #3 Posted August 27, 2020 Lawn Ranger blades do not mount to the rear axle They have a pair of plates that mount where the mid mount tach matic would be. You would have to remove the drive pulley set up to mount the plates. I would think the frame holes would line up OK and the lift arm is in the same location... I have plowed with my L107 and she does a good job. i think that since you have to get on and off the tractor to reangle the blade I would put it on the Ranger.
