Do you have some photos of your modifications so folks can see?

Nathan,

I think I did good in regards to your photo requests. To thank you, I'll let you in on the secret I believe that makes it POP.

Just between you and me.... it's the wheels, the wheels are bad with 20x8.00-10 tires. Together with the pulley sizes I used, the ratios feel right. I never think about the stress on the axle with the smaller tires, a taller tire would be a concern for me.

Just showed this to Mrs. P... “It’s just you... it’s just you in a few more years, that’s all..”.

I think that’s a compliment... or a challenge to build a similar project!

pullstart, we never met so speaking on my behalf only, your wife meant no compliment. I must quote Cosmo Kramer, "Look away, I'm hideous"

I use to do that stuff 30 years ago. Here is the machine I used.  You don't try to get it up, you lean out over the handlebars so it doesn't knock your teeth out when it comes up. I had it to come up at around 75 MPH when I hit fifth gear.

UPDATE..The evolution of my wheel stander. The original version is my avatar from the video. I then tried a round hood and decided it needed stretched. My final version photo is the stretched side shot in front of the garage door, while the original has a blue engine

Breaking or increasing the momentum of a rapidly spinning object (tires/tracks) fixed to a slightly stationary object (whatever is flying) in the air can have great effects on where the machine goes.  This can apply from RC toys and bicycles to monster trucks.

Is that a big D series with a loader there in the back? Waiting for his turn to send it?

Here you go Lee1977. how about a wheelstand at 260km/hour or 160mph. Enjoy the ride.
