I never parented a Monarch, but the wild transients are really busy taking on fuel from my butterfly bush.

My wife did about 25-30. Those caterpillars can eat! That's all they do, and crap.

She picked the eggs off milkweed plants

Search online Monarch Butterfly eggs. They're very small so you need to know what you're looking for

Interesting fellas... my wife is a butterfly fan. I should get her hooked on the hobby. Maybe distract her from my :wh: habit. :lol: Tons of milkweed here too. Back lane is littered with them

It is a Bee house John.    Not sure what kinds of bees it's supposed to attract.   I got it hoping  to attract bees to pollinate my apple, plum, and pear trees, but all i see in it are ants.

Super cool stuff. 

We don't do any direct parenting here but Trina plants to attract a good variety of birds and insects. 

 

She's been looking at bat house plans...
