Mine are all workers.. sad to say.. even my ‘73 14hp..it has the winter off, but I just can’t get enough of a 47 year old tractor, all I do is smile! 1 1

The guy with the free 44” blower informed me after I contacted him that he already gave it away. I really had my hopes up, but oh well. It would have paired up nicely with the 520-H with foot control. He did tell me that if the guy didn’t come get it he would call me.

This tractor was given to me, however when I got it it was literally a basket case. It was in pieces with the smaller pieces in milk crates. A buddy of mine said that I should just sell it in parts the way it was, and I said nope I’m putting this baby back together. So I sand blasted the big stuff and glass beaded the smaller pieces. Rustoleum automotive primer and sunrise red with LOTS of wet sanding. I didn’t do anything to the motor, it smokes a little bit at the startup but runs like a top. 3 1 1

arrkerr 54 #16 Posted August 17, 2020 My eyes went straight to those C-161s as well. Of all the horses I've had my C-141 has been my rock, but I've got a C-145 auto that is a runner up. Years ago at the first auction I had ever been to, just down the road from me in fact, was a beautiful C-161 auto, mid mount grader blade, and a bunch of other attachments. Having never been to an auction before someone that knew what they were doing snagged that sucker before I could even get a word out. That was probably 10 years ago and it is still stuck in my brain - I could have literally driven it home. I have to hope it went to a collector and a good home. Still hope to get my hands on a single cylinder C-161 one day. 2
