I havent been camping in a few years now. Miss it. Maybe I will get the tent out just to see if it is all still there. Should sell it. I havent used it in forever. Last several times I went camping I used the pop up campers I had. Have fun !

We hosted a Finnish exchange student when our kids were in high school.  He asked about cloud berries while was here.  That was the first we had heard of them.  When we visited his family in Finland a couple of years later, we learned about them first hand, as they were in season when we were there.  They sure good on ice cream!

The internet claims that they can be found in the extreme northern edges of the U.S. and in Canada.  Must be pretty rare, as I have never found anybody in the U.S. that knows about cloud berries.

Bears don't bother anyone in New England.

It's the humans one has to be concerned with.

But we do carry..

The next few are from the first camping location.

There was a ton of spider webs in the morning dew.

And a fair assortment of noisy grackles.

Here's a different angle on Big Spencer. The part we hike is the very steep LH face.

During this walk I fell in the stream and soaked my right leg in some nasty mud muck water.
