I havent used it in forever. Last several times I went camping I used the pop up campers I had. Have fun !

He asked about cloud berries while was here. That was the first we had heard of them. When we visited his family in Finland a couple of years later, we learned about them first hand, as they were in season when we were there. They sure good on ice cream! The internet claims that they can be found in the extreme northern edges of the U.S. and in Canada. Must be pretty rare, as I have never found anybody in the U.S. that knows about cloud berries.

ebinmaine 67,274 #21 Posted August 24, 2020 Here's a boat load of pics from our adventure! Almost brown blue cah (car) from the dirt roads My 44 LB lap dog Resting by the fire. She LOVES the fire. The next few are from the first camping location. There was a ton of spider webs in the morning dew. And a fair assortment of noisy grackles. Local wildlife watering hole. Moose tracks all through the mud. The matted down grass is a moose bed. YES a bear DOES poop in the woods!!!!! One of many pics of Big Spencer Mountain. Another view Big Spencer from across the pond at our second camp site A view of Mt Katahdin from half way up Big Spencer. On the right. Note the top is in the clouds. Part of the trail up Spencer. The boards go across a stream. Big Spencer has a very large communications station at the top. The view from our lunch break Katahdin again. Now out of cloud cover. We've hiked that in the past and would do it again. Here's a different angle on Big Spencer. The part we hike is the very steep LH face. During this walk I fell in the stream and soaked my right leg in some nasty mud muck water. We were lucky enough to watch a cow moose a couple times in the pictured pond. A wonderful week!!!! 1 2
