Thank you all for the help!

 

I ended up taking it to a guy to fix, which was awesome, because the governor needed work, too. Yesterday, when we got between 11-14 inches of snow, my 417-8, with chains, and homemade weight system (I got a metal rod and screwed it onto the back and put plastic weights on it). I got about 70 lbs on there. Anyway, the thing worked like a champ. 

 

And I am so glad that I took it to that mechanic. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have been driving by a location on my way back from his garage when I saw a a large buck (during deer season), which I was able to catch up with 4 days later. 11 points! That was worth the cost of the mechanic alone!

It is great, Eric! Wow, talk about torque. The thing is amazing. I wish I had more weight on there, but for regular snowblowing it should be fine. I snowblowed out a field for my son and I to play football on and with the settled snow and somewhat uneven field, it would have been nice to have more weight. That is 16" of settled snow on grass. 

 

Now to find more implements.

Seth, according to the Wheelhorse laws @WHX24 had been working on you can justify a minimum 1 to 1 ratio of tractors to implements.
