Dan.gerous 2,696 #1 Posted August 12, 2020 It's been a busy week down on the farm. We have made enough money to tarmac the courtyard! It was an awful muddy mess, but going into this winter we will be in a much better position - it will make everything easier as trudging through thick mud soon saps your energy. Photos as it happens.... 4 1
Dan.gerous 2,696 #2 Posted August 12, 2020 A couple of JCB's arrived to remove the accumulated mud and roughly level the place off. Nice machines and they were quick knocking the place into shape. 3
Dan.gerous 2,696 #5 Posted August 13, 2020 100 tons of tar chippings going down to create a nice bed for the tarmac to sit on. And more machinery turned up on the trucks. 5

Dan.gerous 2,696 #8 Posted August 14, 2020 Half the tarmac has been laid, workers and trucks all over the place and the air is thick with the oily smell of roadworks 😊 5

Dan.gerous 2,696 #10 Posted August 15, 2020 And finally complete, only five days from start to finish - this winter will be transformed. Now I just need the road sweeper for my new wheelhorse 416-8 😁 1
