71_Bronco 1,072 #1 Posted August 11, 2020 Got these 2 bad boys in the mail today. Pair of 8" diameter x 8-1/2" wide wheels. These are going on the back of my '62 Lawn Ranger project. Tire size im looking for is 18x9.50-8. I have a few options. I can go with a lug style (Carlisle "Super Lug"), I can go with a stud style (Carlisle ATV "Knobby"), or i can go with some kind of aggressive ATV style (Ocelot P311 shown below). Front tires are Carlisle "Studs", 4.10x6 on 6" wheels. What do you guys think? I was kinda thinking the Knobby tires, since they aren't as common. Howver, they aren't exactly "tractor style" tires like the Super Lugs.
71_Bronco 1,072 #2 Posted August 11, 2020 I was also looking at the OTR "Trac Master", as I like the curved bars vs the straight ones on the Carlisle Super Lugs, but these are only available in 18-8.50x8, an inch narrower. Not sure how they would look on the 8.5" wide rim. 1

ebinmaine 69,040 #4 Posted August 11, 2020 My vote would be to keep it looking like a tractor and use the Carlisle tires. But it's your ride. I think any of them would look decent.

Redneckdavis 308 #6 Posted August 12, 2020 I'd go with traditional tractor style. Or go for all both at same time. Like these and your picture
