first of all i want to thank everyone for there thoughts and helping me  know the year plus the motor size on this older wheel horse i paid 75 bucks for;

now is another issue ;it seems it comes in 3-s as one has a carb issue the other a leak in the transmission;so now with the briggs i have an issue ;as it seems being an automatic once i use the pedal to have it stop to go in to neutral  ;the pedal does not return as it should 'is there a spring or has something worn out ;never a dull moment with this old horses but they are worth saving as they are built to last ;but after time with age and use something does go wrong 'any thoughts sure would will be appreciated 'again guys thanks for everything '

Spring #91 is probably missing /broken.  it is NLA and while a substitute is easy to fin installing it is a real PIA.  Daveoman has posted pictures of an external easy fix.
