bds1984 1,429 #26 Posted August 9, 2020 I mow a third of an acre with my 315-8 with a 48" deck. I like how I can make my back yard have stripes like a baseball field. From start to finish, with all the trimming, it takes me about an hour to mow my lawn. I suppose if you cannot find a short frame, you could always look for a Wheel Horse with a 42" or smaller deck. Not when your old enough to remember beer parlours had separate entrances for un-escorted woman. Even to this day farmers here in Manitoba operating multi million dollar operations leave their spouse off of land tittles. Worst piece of junk ever built. Sold it to a fool who wanted to use it to haul fire wood. Told him many times that this isnt going to work for that. .... he bought it anyways. 3 days later he wanted his money back. I asked him how many times I told him it wasnt going to work. He said he thought it would. I told him to think of another use for it then, not my problem. He wanted to fight me over it. On the plus side.... It did have a cup holder !! The grass catcher came off and you use the back to haul. Problem was it barely would move the rider. You sit on it and the metal would flex. Was like sitting on a self propelled mower. Did I mention it had a cup holder !!! Looks like a paint roller pan with an engine and steering wheel. 2
