When i flipped it, i was in the process of moving to northern NH. No more garage. She sat all winter covered with roofing rubber. It was nice to her it crank.

I cleaned the plug, im going to check for spark now. If i remember correctly, you take out the plug, put the wire  back on and put the tip of the plug near metal and crank and look for spark ?

great looking tractor

if you cannot park the tractor inside - find a high quality cover

sitting outside can introduce a number of issues - especially without a cover

I looked in the gas tank before i started and saw gas. After i had exhausted everything else, i looked again and it was empty. There must have just been a couple oz's in there.

Now i have to pull apart the grass vacuum attachment. I think if i use a propane torche, i can bend it back. Iy still works, but ita rubbing bad.

Tuneup

Ooo-LaLa on that deck. Very nice! She is definitely a keeper, regardless of a few bent pieces here and there. Good luck! Oh, I have been embarrassed a couple of times when it stalls or cranks forever and I remember I forgot to open the petcock. The neighbors' Home Depot specials start right up!

Cut my grass with my WH today for the first time in 9 months, these things are indestructible!  Purring  like a kitten.

My new place has a couple acres of grass, and shes up for the job!

So the vacuum attachment is pretty messed up has a couple holes and it pretty bent. It landed on it, today just for shits and giggles i posted something on site called " Wheel Horse Junkies" a guy had just bought 3 of them but only needed one. He sold me the whole assembly shipped for $75.00. Considering just the housing was $330 on the Toro parts site, i got a great deal.

I bought this WH about 10 years ago for $600. It was in perfect condition. I have a feeling i will die with it in my garage. Its a no frills work horse. I could literally pull my truck down the road with it. The 8 speed trans and 16 horse engine pulls so hard under a load, i dont know sometimes how it doesnt twist the frame or snap the rear end.

Now im about to move to my new house with a lot more land...and i know she will be up for the challenge.
