ebinmaine 67,274 #6 Posted August 4, 2020 This past July was the warmest July that Portland Maine has ever had. I don't know the temperature statistics but I assure you it felt like I had moved 1500 miles south for a few weeks.
Tractorhead 9,064 #7 Posted August 4, 2020 I was close before, throw a swim tyre to my potatoes.. 😎 to save the rest they survived until now. we have such a mass of snails this year like never before.🙄🤬 They rotten the half potato field and allmost all pumpkins, cucumbers in the Glashouse, even onions and the small sweetpotatores i try this year first time on a separate place. They also damaged the whole Flowercircle i planted on my new Area for the Bee‘s 3 meters in diameter. i liked to show here proud my first harvest, but now nearly all plants damaged by this anti Christ. i can find at least snail on each squaremeter, eeeeeekkk. Even the neighbour told me they never had seen so many of Snails like this year. Firstly too dry - bad for the wheat, now too cold and too rainy. Most fields here looks more like sea‘s than Fields. Our Firefighter‘s here are working nonstop to drain all the basements. Lord bless them all, all over the World. Hope this weekend gets better Weather, if so i will mowed all the Snails down to the ground.. 8 Gal. of Fuel is prepared for Snail hunting and Blades in the Deck are extremely Sharpened. pressurewasher is still also prepared for cleaning the Deck after the „ Show“..😎
