Second hatching.

Recommended Posts

Stormin

Second brood of Moorhen chicks this year. Six all told. This lot were hatched out in a nest 20ft up a willow tree. Free fall exit. First lot didn't survive. Cats, crows and magpies. One crow and one magpie contracted fatal lead poisoning.

Very cool!

Just one question - so... the cat missed the invitation to the lead soup dinner? :confusion-confused:

Maybe invite him back...
