Came Home With More Than I Took to The Scrap Yard

So I took a load of truly scrap steel, a little aluminum, 2 batteries, some copper, etc to the Hill Country Recycle Yard.  I got $59.42. They let you walk the pile from 12 noon to 12:30 while there shut down for lunch, so I timed my trip accordingly.

I spent $102.00.  After parting out my purchases I resold $19.49.  So I spent  $23.09

Do you see it. Not the cheap one in front.

Ok also got these round fenders off a Sears, 2 cast iron pots, a flat belt driven saw with babbit bearings (probable part of a cord wood saw)  and a 4" vice that not pictured.

Here's what was hiding on top of the pile.  The claw had smashed the back.  I know it's green, but there's a Kohler under there:woohoo:

Lots of parts for trading at the next tractor show. I'll post a for Sale in the Classifieds here in case someone needs some thing, very reasonable.   The 10hp Kohler K241 was untouched by the claw and turns over with the electric starter.

The rear rims were damaged and they were probable the only other thing I would have kept.
