bc.gold 3,403 #1 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) Decent for its age, AMC 360 CID, locking hubs, 727 auto with manual shift transfers case was offered and I'm thinking on it. Edited July 27, 2020 by bcgold
ZXT 2,401 #2 Posted July 27, 2020 I'd buy it! I've wanted a J series truck as long as I can remember. Had one for sale local that I tried to buy here a while back and was never able to make the deal. I'll have one some day.

Had one for sale local that I tried to buy here a while back and was never able to make the deal. I'll have one some day. I took it for a short drive, drivers door handle is off but is laying inside the truck, no chips or cracks and fading in any of the glass, the automatic feels firm going into gear, tires are 90 percent, one spot of rust on the side of the box. Tail gate has a bit of damage but functional, all the lights work, there's a winch mounted up top where the driving lights are mounted, Russ was raising Buffalo and Elk, when one of the animals was brought down for meat this is how it was loaded onto the truck, Russ had heart surgery a few years ago, since then has handed the reins of the business over to his son, Sperling Industries with Canada and US locations. Sold all the farm stock and some parcels of land, time to enjoy his retirement, this afternoon while i was there mentioned that i had at one time worked as a mechanic at the King Pacific Fishing Lodge, Lynne looked it up immediately then showed the site to Russ. I think they're planning to book for the latter part of August. Anyhow you could put a permit on that truck and driver her home, $2,000.00 that's two thousand weak Canadian dollars buys it, does not fit into my plans now or in the near future. If you were checking the J10's out recently you'll know this price is a steal, if you decide to go forward you;ll be dealing with Russ directly. If you wish to proceed you can PM me for Russ's contact information. If you prefer to trailer it there's a U-haul in Neepawa MB Edited July 27, 2020 by bcgold 1

bc.gold 3,403 #6 Posted July 27, 2020 If you give your local Chrysler dealer the VIN number the parts guy can print off the options report, brake drum size, and which diffs and transfer case were factory installed.
bc.gold 3,403 #7 Posted July 27, 2020 VIN - 1JTNE26N0GT121592, J10 Jeep was made in the USA, Toledo Ohio assembly plant. The Chrysler report will be more detailed and usually free of charge, if you go in person they'll gladly print it off for you.
WHNJ701 4,165 #8 Posted July 27, 2020 Neat trucks, down the road from was a small jeep/AMC dealer in 60's to 80s. there were still a few of these trucks in the woods when they cleaned out the property, they auctioned off all the stuff, tons of nos parts too.

Skwerl58 702 #12 Posted July 27, 2020 When I was in my late teens a friend had one that had a 360 v8, and a four speed with granny low. It was dark green and white. It was a beast and a very dependable truck. He pulled my old Ford f100 2 wheel drive up a hill in the snow so I could get home. I would love to have one myself one day. I now have a 99 Nissan Frontier 4x4 that suits me now.

Heck of a deal, but I've got too many cars as it is. I need to get rid of a few before dragging any more home.
