WHX?? 49,147 #1 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) This is a must show for Dan @Achto his family and the whole mafia crew so we were estatic when we found out the show must go on damn the covids. I figure the Good Lords gonna call me home what better way than a show. Might be better than a tractor accident anyway. Dan took second in 3000 lb with the 30.. Lots more to come as I get near some real internet. Edited July 27, 2020 by WHX24 6 9

Lots of cold beverages I guess! Some noteworthy pieces..most of the pics was just flying by on the 1055 so forgive the quality.... 10 4

My Oliver 2-44 Loader Backhoe is essentially that Oliver 550 in the picture background, with a heavier front end and power assist steering, painted industrial yellow of course.

PeacemakerJack 10,738 #11 Posted July 27, 2020 It was so refreshing to be able to go to a show that felt “normal” compared to all the craziness that we have faced over the last several months. I decided to take a pair of Big Wheels as Jim noted above by bringing Dad’s newly painted 953 and nun super-C. It was around 92 degrees for a high and was pretty sticky. However, it was so fun to take the kids around and look at the operational Grist Mill, Saw Mill, and various other demonstrations. Lots of cool stock and modified tractors on the grounds. There weren’t a ton of GT’s but there were some. I always enjoy the custom built scaled down tractors! The pull is one of the highlights of the weekend and I’m sure Dan will chime in about that eventually. Even the weigh in scale area is cool and vintage! These Oliver’s are sweet sounding machines when working hard! My Great Grandpa had bought one of these Case 400 Super Diesels brand new. They are relatively rare and it was neat to see this one fully restored and running great! As mentioned above, Dan took second in his class and I was there was he was coming back to the campsite with his trophy so I snagged a pic with him and his custom cup from @19richie66 All in all a fun day! It was great to hang with Cindy and the gang by the campers for awhile in the afternoon. It was hot and she offered the kids freeze pops and let them cool their feet in the kiddie pool! Judge told me as we left, “thanks for taking us dad, this was a great day!” 5

Pullstart 63,084 #13 Posted July 27, 2020 Awesome stuff, guys! I was whooped from the trip to Puerto Rico and decided to ride along up north to float 12 miles of the coldest river in Michigan, The Pine. That was much more relaxing than driving up to northern WI again... but it looks like I missed out nonetheless! @PeacemakerJack, The Black Cherry is a sweet paint scheme! Congrats @Achto on the trophy! Thanks for the pics @WHX24! 3

WHX?? 49,147 #15 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) Did I mention the food?!?!? Dan made this concoction he called a a heart attack loaf. It's basically pork, pork & more pork! Messed up the pellet grill somethin fierce but worth the clean up! Hope your a bacon lover! We also had the annual Mafia potluck supper where everyone brings a dish to pass and eat in the Mafia tent. Dan made his plow day pulled pork! Edited July 27, 2020 by WHX24 8 2
Achto 27,748 #16 Posted July 27, 2020 Like Jim & Josh said, it was definitely a great weekend despite the extreme heat. I have a few pic's to share from my phone right now but will share more from my camera later. Jim, I for got to get a picture of the heart attack loaf when it came out of the smoker. I did how ever remember to get a picture of the pork butt after it spent all day in the smoker. The Grist Mill, This picture was taken from the steel girder bridge that was moved to the show grounds after being removed from use on Hwy22 in Symco. Some threshing getting done with the use of a Case steam traction engine. A line up of most of the garden tractors that participated in the GT cruise around the grounds on Sat. evening. More pictures to yet come. 4 6
WHX?? 49,147 #17 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) Jack Mentioned the operational displays which there is everything here! Sawmills, grist mill, blacksmiths, rock crushing you name it. There is a complete mini down town and most of the buildings are 100+ years old and moved here. Post Office, bank, barber shop, harness shop, church ... lots to see & lots of antiques. Sadly most were closed due to covids but the bigger ones were open. Only other show that I have ever been to that has this many permanent displays is Pioneer Power in MN. Some more here Dan.... I love them I have a set of nfl colts ones I am throwing away. I am not supporting the nfl anymore. They are also just cheap pressboard. I would pay money for what you got. Love them. I bet a friend of mine in Arkansas she could make me bean bags with wheelhorses on them. We have bought alot of stuff from her. Do you happen to have the total dimensions and what paint you used?
