c-series don

I have 2 or 3 of those vacuums that I inherited from my uncle. I remember him and my grandfather both using them, and how well they worked. I may restore one of them in their honor. If I didn’t have a Peco vacuum with 8hp Briggs and dump cart I’d have one of those in service! I can’t wait to see yours hooked up and ready for use! You don’t see many of them around anymore.

She was busy on rototilling duty and didn't want to be bothered for pictures.

New idler pulleys and spring , and brackets cleaned up straightened and painted

Deck strip down , pressure washed and use needle scaler on it. Some pits, bends, and cracks. But no rust holes. My rotted deck is completely straight , so I'm going to use it as a guide to straighten the other one. Does anyone know what the window cut in the baffle I by the center blade is for? I assume this was done by the previous owner.

I think I'll drop it in an electrolysis tank for about a week before sandblasting and doing my metal work.

I think you focused too much on the bagging system and not enough on the tractor in the background to run it on :ychain:

All joking aside, very cool set-up you got there, can't wait to see it all mounted and running

Did my final few passes for this year, and switching to the plow for the coming snow.
