Although it's a 14 hour round trip, it was cheap, has an attachment I wanted and could be a spare parts machine.....although that never happens! Comes with a wheelhorse sweeper, they fetch about £70-£100 over here and I got the whole lot for £200. Should be a winner even if it never starts. The deck I got on Thursday had the odd off set mounting point for doing kerbs. Dan.gerous 2,696 #7 Posted July 26, 2020 Have confirmed pickup date for Thursday this coming week - can't wait. It's quite a buzz getting new ones, even if the drive can be a bit tedious. We are going to head down on Wednesday night, stay in the van then grab the C125 first thing Thursday morning and head home. I'm telling Marie that it's a romantic COVID friendly date 🙄 Going to be awesome if that machine starts up and runs. We have decided to make it into a two day trip rather than doing it all in a oner like usual. Fitted the back of the van out as a makeshift camper, took one of the beds out of the RV. Have two of my old mower decks to drop off at Mick's place on the way, he is about halfway down the country. Dan.gerous 2,696 #14 Posted July 30, 2020 Van loaded, heading north again 😊 Mower deck has a couple of fractures but otherwise looks in ok shape, certainly salvageable. It comes with a grass sweeper - awesome! Wheelhorse has seen better days but it all looks very original, no bodged jobs on it. Will put fresh oil in, clean carbs and see if it runs once we get home. Dan.gerous 2,696 #19 Posted July 30, 2020 I'm home. Grabbed everything out of the van for some quick photographs. Checked fluids, all good so turned it over on the starter - all nice and free. Need to hook up an external fuel tank in the morning and see if I have spark and then try get this thing running. There is no key but I think a screw driver will work for now. You guys can judge the machine based on the photographs 😊 It ended up being an 850 mile round trip trip, but another wheelhorse in the stables has to be worth it.
