Show Us Your WH Tractor Yard Art

Recommended Posts

SylvanLakeWH

So I am thinking of getting a REALLY rough old WH round hood for yard art... Needs to be visually complete in terms of 4 wheels etc... but I don't want anything that would be a clear restoration candidate... Before I go to far down this road - what do you all have in the way of WH yard art, or have seen out there? I'd like some visual ideas...

May use some of your pics to start the conversation with my better half... :hide:

Post em up please!

I am not the one to ask. I tend to go the opposite direction. I get other peoples yard art and try to make tractors out of them.

That’s funny! My neighbor was hinting that my yard art could be brought to life. He may have been right, but I focused on what I wanted and that was “yard art” :handgestures-thumbupright:

That is exactly what I'm thinking! :handgestures-thumbupright: Although engine is not mandatory...

Any basket case early roundhood rollers out there in Michigan...?

So the tractor came to me without an engine. Looked kinda naked . Neighbor had a junk Briggs that was all rusty and locked up, couple 3/8th bolts and nuts and it looked like it had been on the tractor since new.

Finally achieved the level of patina I thought was good...so painted the hood letters and shot the whole thing with clear coat.
