The Tuul Crib 7,336 #1 Posted July 21, 2020 (edited) I just read were Briggs & Stratton has filed for Chapter 11. Could this be the demise of a well-known brand. Due to other circumstances coronavirus has dealt the last blow for the company with their losses due to this illness. Sure hope they can make it through this one. Hate to see another icon in history go down! Edited July 21, 2020 by The Tuul Crib
Mike'sHorseBarn 2,990 #2 Posted July 21, 2020 From what I've read they are just doing this to reorganize and restructure. They have no plans of going completely out of business. If they file chapter 7 bankruptcy then it's all over, but I would hate to see that.
Razorback 1,035 #3 Posted July 21, 2020 I wonder how much the insurgence of Predator engines has to do with this?

Yeah well i work for the largest book manufacture company and it has filed chapter 11. And it isnt looking to good. and our stock is at a whopping .05 so yeah. They are being very hush hush which isnt setting to well with me. Kinda scary i made my family at this place been here almost 17 years. I hope everything works out. It was a mom and pop place then corporate america bought us and it all went down hill literally. Lost benifits we were the highest employer in my county and donated a lot to the community too.
