Anyone know the cr or national  seal numbers for the 42” sickle mower? Or are they just o rings?

Are there any adjustments in the gearbox to take out play?  Are three new parts available?  
 

the pulley has about 1/4 play and the bar has 1” play where it connects

It's all bronze bushings inside the box. They are standard sizes and easy to find. I rebuilt mine a few years back took almost all the sloppiness out of it.

Ok the hole in the bar is sloppy is or was there a bushing there?

I put one in mine not sure if it's meant to be there but it worked.

The hole is oblong. I’d have to drill it to fit a bushing

Mine was also. I filed it it so it was round and just big enough to put the bushing in. The bushing needs to fit kinda snug so it doesn't break.
