This week has not been great. I came into it already having been let down by a disaster known as my 140 transmission.

6 days ago my favorite internet personality passed away from liver cancer. 4 days ago my buddy's dog who was the best part of their family passed from a heart tumor at 15 years old. Yesterday my grandmother passed. Today, just 6 hours after my grandmother passed, my great grandmother passed.

Seems like this year a lot of good people are just gone...

Sorry for your loss dude, none of that sounds like any fun.  Joe’s right... sometimes you cannot make sense out of life, but we keep on truckin’ along looking for the silver lining.

This has been a very trying year for a lot of people, you are not wrong in that.  Loss is something that is incredibly hard, and oftentimes doesn't make sense.  What helps me is to think about the people that I've lost, and the effects that they had on my life.  Now at first this might make you sad, and that's ok, but also remember that all those effects shaped who you are as a person, and so because of that those people will live on in you.

I thankfully still have both of my parents, and I have recently hit an age where I catch myself making a joke like my father does, or smirking at something funny (not usually my dads jokes) the same way my mom does.  In those ways, they will always be with me.  So I urge you to think about the positive things that each of these people have brought in to your life, I am sure you followed the internet personality most likely because you had a shared a passion in a certain hobby or interest, your friends dog like most pets probably taught you empathy and compassion, your grandmother and great grandmother most likely shared with you a caring and nurturing nature.  Think of these things as their most important gifts to you.

I lost my grandmother in 2014, and I still have days that I wish I could just drive to her house, sit with her in her kitchen, and vent.  She was a great support for me to be able to let out my emotions, and then help talk me through them so that I better understood why I was frustrated with a certain situation, or what made me upset about something that was said.  And while I don't have her to help me with that anymore, I have found other people who help me in a similar way.  But even more importantly, I try to offer other people what my grandmother offered to me, an ear, unbiased and non judgmental.  This is my way of honoring her, and remembering her.

Loss is hard, and it takes time to work through it.  In this time do not feel afraid of your emotions, or try to stop them, they are there for a reason.  If you think of a fond memory, don't be afraid to smile, and if you get overwhelmed and are sad, it's ok to cry.  Just remember that in the end while they are gone, they helped shape who you are and they will always be with you.  I think an old phrase sums it up best "gone, but not forgotten".

Sorry for your loss.

i know such loss is Hard to Accept and harder to understand.

My Grandfather was my importantst person in my Life after my Mother.

I had a lot of deep Conversations with him and he seems to know every answer on questions i had in these Day‘s.
I lost my best Buddy by a Motocycle Accident and i ask his Advice, because it hurts me heavy.
This conversation i will never forget.

Our Life can be compared to a long journey we have to go,
sometimes this journey takes you on the highest hill,
sometimes it sends you in the deepest Valley you can not imagine now.

But while that travel it takes it‘s time to come back onto level or next hill,
so please be patient and accept that hurt, because it’s part of your Life
and it form’s you to that Person who you are now.

Life are allway‘s ups and downs and not a even line for some times.
Keep you head up high

my condolences

Loss...

You never believe it until it happens.
When you walk 2 relatives to the hearse just hours apart...
When you stand there in silence, as they lay there still in the casket...
When a singer you love dies, when a family pet passes after 16 years of filling the family with love, when your favorite internet personality loses their battle with cancer, all in the span of a week.
It never feels real.
When the reality hits, that's just the hardest thing to grasp.
