Recommended Posts

Hello All.

Will a fuel pump off a c120 work on a c160; be a direct replacement? Rightnow, i (may) have the chance to go this route...

Thanks for any input.

Yes it will.  The 10-16 HP Kohler singles use the same pump.  I went this route recently when my Dad's fuel pump died on his M12.

Yes it will. keep your bad pump and rebuild it with a kit from Then and Now.  http://www.then-now-auto.com/kohler-fuel-pumps-2/    Rebuilt OEM pumps are far better than the aftermarket junk pums.

The pump is a Briggs pump.  The mounting plate is stainless steel.  I have since found a Kawasaki pump (P/N 49040-7008) that has the inlet, outlet and pulse lines in better locations.  Bill

They will work.  you need to follow the directions using the big E clip to place and adjust the elbows.

The lever on the plastic pump is wrong for the K/M series.  The metal body pump on the back is the K/M series pump.  Bill

:confusion-confused:             Don't know, the lever looks like it would be for a K Twin.

I think the plastic pump is for a KT/M series twin. The metal pump is the K series pump.  Bill
