Blamp28 6 #1 Posted July 14, 2020 Good evening all. I am trying to learn how to value a Wheel Horse electric tractor. Not certain of the model yet. I will try to get some numbers off of it tomorrow. Just trying to determine it's worth. Mower deck has three electric motors. 4
Pullstart 62,925 #2 Posted July 14, 2020 Welcome, from not too far away! Battery condition helps greatly with price, usually they are worth much more than the tractor itself if they’re in good condition. Pictures will help as well.
SylvanLakeWH 25,609 #3 Posted July 14, 2020 to another Michigander!!! As @pullstart said, batteries are usually the big ticket item on these... do see them occasionally on CL and FB Marketplace as well as classifieds here on RS, but they are not that common. I would search those places to get comparables... I’ll be watching!
953 nut 55,376 #6 Posted July 14, 2020 The electric Wheel Horses were made from 1975 to 1983 and are not very common. We would love to learn more about the one you are considering buying.
WHX?? 48,845 #7 Posted July 14, 2020 (edited) I had a shot at buying one local once off CL. It had newer batteries and the guy wanted 450 for it. I immediately dropped a dime on the seller who was using it for a show cruiser. It was in nice shape. Couple days later the seller backed out as his kids convinced him to pass it down. Can't argue with that I guess. I figured I 'd use it for quiet rustling ..... I also stupidly passed on a A-60E rer once. Mike @prondzy didn't you have one pass through your herd once? Guessing you checked this section Blamp? https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/forum/166-wheel-horse-electric-models/ Edited July 14, 2020 by WHX24
