WHNJ701 4,165 #26 Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) Put the nut back on so it is flush with the end of the crank, you take 2 pry bars on the back of the flywheel and have her take a hammer and tap the nut/crank Edited August 22, 2020 by jabelman 1 2

I searched a few different ways here, then thumbed through the OM section, then asked for confirmation. So for search purpose... Today, we’ll try again 2 1
D_Mac 8,623 #34 Posted August 22, 2020 @AMC RULES I will give you a good deal on it if you are interested. I really would like to find a good home for it. Buy the tractor I toss in a pair of Indian Motorcycle Decals !!! I hate to say it but I am losing interest in the Lambert as well. For the right price I would let that go too. I think I have taken it as far as I can. Needs some belt guides made up or different pulleys. I cant seem to get it right. Everything is new on it. I even have the original mowing deck. I know they are not Wheel Horses but they are two very special tractors. Be hard to find anything like either one of them.

It was pouring fuel out, I shut off the petcock then rolled it over myself for quite a while to dry out the plug. Once it fired up, I turned the fuel back on for her to take a stroll! 5
D_Mac 8,623 #38 Posted August 23, 2020 Almost ..... She gets closer then my nephew gets. Maybe if she got a better angle on it. The Speedanza starts really easy. Most of the time first pull its running.
WHX?? 48,833 #39 Posted August 23, 2020 (edited) That was always a good running Clinton Kev ... one or two pulls. Very little smoke to boot. It sat for quite awhile tho so guessing you got fresh gas it it? Carb clean or some seafoam is not out of the question. Prolly stuck float or needle. Jack's boy @Coulter Caleb and his brother rode the snot out of it at the first plowday. Edited August 24, 2020 by WHX24 1 2
Pullstart 62,916 #40 Posted June 20, 2022 Not sure if I ever mentioned, Rylee calls this tractor “Fat Bob”. We”re replacing the fuel sediment bowl and rock hard fuel line in preparation of the show. The fuel tank straps are in dire straights but we’ll get to that. She still wants to cruise the show so that’s what we’ll do!

WHX?? 48,833 #42 Posted June 20, 2022 I was always wondering how to fix those straps. Maybe just make some all new ones?
Jennifer 1,877 #43 Posted June 20, 2022 Was trying to find where we got the set for the daughters black horse…. No luck so far.. sorry. We bought 2 set… but used both one on “The black horse” and the other on “Rusty”.. My point is someone is reproducing at I think 15$ 🤷🏻♀️

Take the weight off the hood. Though it lasted 60 years that way! Uncle Jim that old Clinton popped off and was running like a top. No smoke, ready to go! 2
WHX?? 48,833 #45 Posted June 20, 2022 (edited) Thank you Jen I think I saw those too somewhere. I was going to suggest one of those Novar electronic ignition thingamabobs Kev. The Clinton I have on a 400 sets & the points need dollar billing. No big deal but a pain to have pull everything. I also suspected a bad condenser & points arcing so I moved that to the outside. Going to try the electronic route. Like I said that was always a good running motor but just never got ran unless kids here. Was always going to get one of those modded splined replacement steering wheels too. I thought I have the bushings & seals for the tranny just never got to it. Will look for them for ya. Yep I like the tank support from the bottom. Quick easy & reversible if you ever pull the hood for the right fix. Would be nice if a guy could find a locking throttle like @Achto has on his 701. I got one through a tractor store last year. Quality is.... so so. It locks but it doesn't adjust well, and doesn't unlock properly.
