71_Bronco 1,072 #1 Posted July 12, 2020 Just curious if anybody has done a "monster truck" style Wheel Horse. Thinking something with a tool-box and fenders would be the easiest (like RJ style rear fenders). Bigger wheels and big fat meaty tires on the back, and then bigger wheels / tires on the front, maybe something like the trailer-wheel conversion for more wheel / tire options. Thoughts? Pullstart 62,789 #9 Posted July 12, 2020 My “Poppy” 552 has some big meats indeed, like Craig mentioned. Here’s the link to where the tires started. However, I made a deal with Uncle Jim this weekend and will be pulling that coveted double belt engine in trade for that 401. I’m thinking about what engines I have laying around or what could possibly be stuffed in there? That diesel genny engine would be slick if we ever figure out how to start it! 2

However, I was thinking more along the lines of what @pullstart is building, where the main tractor is the same, just with some massive rubber. That one that Pullstart is building is looking very slick, almost exactly what I was thinking. Edited July 12, 2020 by 71_Bronco 1

House is done on three of four sides and she's working on the last. Just this past weekend we spent quite a bit of time on the firewood and we now have about four cord undercover. That should get us by for this year so we're kind of out from underneath pressure in that department. I have most of the parts I knew I needed for the Charger hydro project. Once that's finished up I'll get back to the big boy tractor. Then I'll have my own Monster tractor.
