Is there any clutch adjustment on a 1994 314-8?tractor seems to jump on pedal release more than it used to.

You probably have a gas clutch spring.My 94 312-8 did and as they get older they react faster and the the clutch action is quicker.Only adjustment is to replace the clutch spring. Eventually they fail and at $111.00 from Parts Tree.I went with $9.00 coil spring and feather the clutch pedal But hey I'm old school and thrifty..

The only adjustment is for pedal location to suit the height of the operator.

Looks like your pedal pressure is provided by a damper item 54.

The damper may be getting weak.

The pedal may be dry but there should be a grease fitting on the pivot.

The older models had a spring that hooked into item 18. You could add one there and it hooks into a web on the top of the left rear axle housing.

When I start mine for the first time each day I let it run for a minute in neutral. That seems to limber up the belt for more consistent operation.

For decades they worked just fine using just the spring. Only one of my tractors had the damper. It's a 2005 and I bought it in 2009 with 101 hours. My initial thoughts were 'what the @$&% did they do to the clutch?' and I hated it. I then removed the damper and put a new spring on it. AHHHHHHH....just lie the good ole days.
