Pullstart 62,846 #1 Posted July 12, 2020 So, my crazy family and a I drove about 380 miles to Jim and Cindy’s this weekend. It was great, other than Mrs. P getting schmucked in the forehead by a stray stick at the bonfire! She’s a trooper and iced and walked it off. Thanks again WI crew, we missed you @PeacemakerJack! @oldiron613 it was great to meet you and ride your Pond lever steer! 15 1
Pullstart 62,846 #2 Posted July 12, 2020 Rylee found an RJ that she could mostly teach the pedals. It sparked her flame yet again to build her own RJ! It also reminded us that the first 45 elbow out of the head sure gets hot to the touch on a 10 year old’s calf! She, like her Mommy, walked it off and couldn’t wait to hop on it again! Rylee had a lesson in changing a battery on a 753 too. Too bad we didn’t give her a lesson in cleaning the fuel system, huh Jim @WHX24? 1 13
squonk 41,096 #3 Posted July 12, 2020 Hot times on the ol blacktop!! Even the host is wearing sandals around power equipment! Nice pics and looked like a good time!
Pullstart 62,846 #4 Posted July 12, 2020 After Rylee got her leg a bit hot, she jumped on the Super C and let Mrs. P take the RJ for a spin. Shortly after, the super C lost a ammeter wire and died on the trail. @Achto received a Rylee sized pilot on Gretel’s 520 for the rest of the ride through the neighbor’s place while I got the C back to home camp. There were more than just tractor rides. Rylee disced and dragged the fire break and Jim’s field area, Dale popped a little too big ‘a wheelie and reared that Ford over almost on top of him, spilled his drink and spit some bearings out the case of his Peerless, we burned plenty of wood, ate way too much food and even laughed about stuff! 1 17
Pullstart 62,846 #5 Posted July 12, 2020 So that 753... good runner until you fill the tank! On a second ride of Saturday, we topped off the tanks and headed out. For those who have been there before, we were across the street for last year’s plow field back in the woods when the 753 I was riding decided to start acting like it was running out of fuel. It would half sputter and run with full choke, but no other way. We used Jason’s pocket knife and a crescent wrench to determine the fuel pump was supplying ample amounts of fuel to the carb, but the passageway to the needle and seat for the float had clogged! Al and his big monster stretched Super Cub turned IH Farmall came to the rescue and pulled me out of the woods, away from the mosquito birds and back to the ranch again! 2 12

I bet he did some pretty long and hard trials with the ‘Ole flip flops in his day Edited July 12, 2020 by pullstart 1

WHX?? 48,815 #12 Posted July 13, 2020 First off thank you Mr. Bush @oldiron613 for bringing that fine fine pre WH Pond and even better letting us tool around on it. This is what you get for your generousity... a tool on Dan's just about as rare McLean... topped off by even rarer diesel! It was a really great time and I cannot even begin to express the efforts the Alberts gang who drove 12 + hrs to crap in my camper! Not even to mention Mrs P takin one for the team to have a nice fire. I mean we got mafias that wet their fingers and grab the plug to check for spark for the team but thus is way above and beyond. The Alberts are real lucky I let them take a daughter home.. I was ready to adopt! This gal not only disced the whole plow field she had the moxie to come up and ask me " what's up next mister"! So I fetched a bed spring and she leveled off everything and and the fire lane to boot! I'd had some seed on hand dang near sure she woulda planted it too! 4

You guys ever see a guy givin mouth to mouth on a hot carb?!?! Stay tuned for the rest of the story! Remember when I said that 753 shoulda’ had a fuel system checkup? Jim told me to have one of my girls change the battery and it’s good to go. Plus, whoever did the work could drive it first! Rylee to the rescue... just like running the disc and drag! Well, it ran real good, till we got to the most thickest mosquito field and it sputtered right out. The pump was pumping, the carb wasn’t giving. We thought maybe the main jet was clogged, so I WAITED FOR JIM TO GET HIS CAMERA OUT then gave the old girl a little whistle to make her work... she just wasn’t ready to work! 1 1
Achto 27,570 #15 Posted July 13, 2020 A big THANK YOU to our host Jim & Cindy. As always they work their tail off to make sure we were all fed and had a good time. Also a thank you to "Pumpkin Farmer Steve" for letting us trail ride on his land and park campers in his woods. It was great to hang out with every one. Taking a cruise on @oldiron613's Pond tractor was awesome!! It sure looked like he also had fun tooling around on a couple of my rides. Mr & Mrs P seem to have been our photo crew . I still need to look through my pics to see if I have anything to add. 6 1
WHX?? 48,815 #16 Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) Big old chunk of crap in the the inlet seat Kev. It still had the older style inlet seat with the rubber in the inlet instead of on the tip of the needle. In a can of berrymans now and will get that clutch issue sorted out while she's in the shop. So when getting ready for trail rides I told Kev to pick out some tractors to ride. For some reason he gravitated to the round hoods in the herd and the Super C that need some love in the shop! I'm still welted up from the horse flies and skeeters! I didn't get many pics but Cindy stole a few good ones off the mafia FB page. I'll get them up. PeacemakerJack 10,738 #17 Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) Great pics Kevin and an awesome write up! I really wish that we could’ve been there. Kelli has put in some really stressful months dealing with all the junk surrounding Covid at work (she’s an RN) and I felt she really needed to get away for a vacation. This was the only time block that she had scheduled vacation hours off since back in November of last year. So we are nestled down deep in the Appalachian mountains right now as I type this. Ya’ll had a great time and some really neat experiences. I know the stertz gang would’ve been there had we been home. Thank you uncle Jim for inviting us, the boys will be bummed when I show them this thread for sure. Dan—“Jesus shoes”😂 that’s a classic right there! WHX?? 48,815 #20 Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) Those tires look good on that tractor. Sorry @wallfish we have plans for those diamond treads! Just a reminder Kev this is NOT your tractor ... It is for my workin girl! Let us know when you get it running. Shouldn't take much was always a one or two pull starter. Best running Clinton I ever had! That is one thing crazy down here...Friday night at 5pm the governor of KY decided that masks were mandatory in all public settings. TN seems to be taking a similar stance. However, a bunch of these “HillBillys”, I mean that in the most friendly Duke boys way possible, seem to be giving that the double barrel salute. It is odd to see this kind of restriction in these states...last place I would’ve expected it🤔 2
